My favorite show? Oh, well it’s a 90s classic about a silly blonde teenager who’s imbued with supernatural powers. She is reluctant to take on the responsibilities at first, but ultimately accepts her fate. Throughout the course of the show, her powers help her mature into adulthood. Despite facing death nearly every night, and having the weight of the world on her shoulders, she remains positive and tries to have fun. She surrounds herself with friends who aide in her battle against the forces of darkness. Sometimes her destiny manifests in strange ways, like being sent a girl to safeguard from enemies in the disguise of a family member, but she takes on the challenge anyway. She had to face her first love in a standoff after he was turned evil, but she saved him in the end. Her responsibilities tend to distract her from school, but she’s very smart despite what her grades show. She loves puns, and snacks. She’s a fashion icon. But most importantly, she saves the world. A lot.
